Tony Christmas I am currently a member of the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron in Victoria and also Yachting Victoria. I am currently the main sheet trimmer on a Farr 30 for aggregate races and hold the same position on an Adams 10 for long course races. I have many years experience on both mono’s and multi’s and have competed in the USA as well as Australia. I have a Coastal Navigation Certificate issued by the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association and also a AVCGA Survival at Sea Certificate, (only the practical part of this certificate is recognized by YA), but I am happy to sit the exam to qualify. I have also been recently accepted as a crew member in the 2013 Clipper Round The World Yacht race. I hold a current 1st Aid certificate and a MCROP (VHF/HF Radio licence). I am also currently gathering miles towards a Yachtmasters certificate and am a member of the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard.
I have my own wet weather gear, personal VHF radio, N150 lifejacket and will be happy to rent a personal EPIRB. Although based in Melbourne I am happy to fly up to Brisbane for training days.

Melanie Piddocke I would like to volunteer as crew for the 2012 Brisbane to Gladstone race.
Experience: dinghy and yacht racing inshore;  RYA Assistant Instructor; Tall ship (Grand Turk) volunteer crew, logging 766nm in the English Channel and North, Cletic and Irish Seas; currently undertaking Day Skipper theory through self study and planning to do radio MCROP and/or First Aid in the next few months. Happy to do any job and keen for more experience.  I'm 30, fit, and work well with others.  Based in Brisbane.

Max Von Richter Fit, energetic  16 year old Dingy sailor looking for experience on yachts.  I am a current member of the Queensland Sailing Development Squad and have been dingy sailing since I was 7 years old.

Shane Nicoll I am looking for any crew position on any size yacht. I have some limited race experience in sabots and hobie cats, some tall ship volunteer crew experience, am RYA Coastal Skipper qualified, and have recently (January 2012) returned from logging over 3100nm cruising the east coast of Queensland over a six month period.
