Enter the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race Minimize

The entry procedure consists of a number of seperate steps. Please make sure you step through the process and read the information provided carefully. If you have any difficulty at any time with on-line entry, please email us immediately.

Step 1: Application for entry Minimize

Proceed to the online "YACHT ENTRY" Form using the link below. This form collects all the information required for your application for entry.

Before you start filling out the form you will have the opportunity to create an account. Creating an account enables you to return to this form should you need to pause at any stage to find information before submitting your entry to the Organising Authority. The account you establish is only for this form., fill it out with the information you have prepared and submit it.

As you work through the form, you will have the opportunity to upload any supporting documentation required including your Verification of Stability. The verification of stability form is available for download here. If you are unable to upload these documents they may be emailed, faxed or posted however, you should note that your entry will not be considered until they have been received.

The Application for Entry together with the Verification of Stability and Entry Fees must be submitted by 1700h on Firday 9th March 2012.

YACHT ENTRY

Step 2: Pay your Race Fees Minimize

Once you have successfully entered your yacht into the race, an email will automatically be sent to the email address you have provided. This email will include our bank details to allow payment of your race fees and a reference number to allow you to complete the crew details form. Race fees are:
• Entry Fee – includes one Category $A535.00
Plus the following fees:
• Per crew person $A25.00
• Each additional Category $A135.00
• Late documentation fee (per document) $A50.00
• Additional Late entry fee (from 28.03.12) $A150.00

Step 3: Enter Crew Details Minimize

Once you have entered your yacht in the race, you may then proceed to enter your crew details using the "CREW DETAILS" form. You will need to complete the form for each individual crew member, or alternatively you can simply ask your crew to complete the form themselves. Crew details are due by Wed 28th March 2012.

To complete the form you MUST accurately enter the yacht entry reference number that was sent to you when you submitted your yacht entry. Failure to enter this accurately may mean that the crew details do not get assigned to your yacht. If you are intending to ask your crew to fill in their own details, make sure you provide them with the reference number as the yacht name alone is not sufficient.

It is important that you have collected together the information required prior to filling in the form. This form must be completed in its entirety when you enter; you are not able to log back into the form at a later date.Information that will be required includes Y.A. Silver Card Number, PLB Hex Number (or the name of the company you are hiring the unit form), Next of Kin details and Medical details.
