The Organising Authority will be providing a Luggage Truck to make the trip from Brisbane to Gladstone on Good Friday and returning back to Brisbane on the Wednesday following the race.
Packing times for items to be transported to Gladstone are:
Wednesday 23rd March 1300hrs > 2000hrs
Thursday 24th March 1000hrs > 1800hrs
Friday 25th March 0800hrs > 0900hrs
Tags must be purchased at the QCYC office and attached to all items before loading. Items without tags will be removed from the truck prior to departure.
Items will be available for collection in Gladstone from the Race Control Centre located adjacent to Gladstone Yacht Club or, by arrangment, the truck can meet you at the Marina for large, non personal, items.
To transport items back from Gladstone, luggaqge will need to be loaded prior to the Tuesday morning following the Race. Items can then be collected from QCYC on the Wednesday between 10am and 4pm. Competitors can book this service by contacting Race Control in Gladstone or catching up with the Race Officials at the conclusion of the Presentation Ceremony.
